A Journey Home is the debut LP from Dutch musician Dotlights. The nine song album blends genres – ambient, lofi, post rock – into an atmospheric and cinematic listening experience. Dotlights has a signature style, one you will immediately notice upon pressing play.
In Dotlights’ own words: “Most of the tracks were made over the course of the first lockdown last year. The music was an escape for me from the stress of that time and being really close to getting burnt out in summer. The tracks come from a place of dealing with change, loss and doubt, while trying to look after yourself in that process.”
